Model PC17553 has a plastic window that breaks after a few uses. The paddle is too big, making it hard to turn when the popcorn fills it. The gears are metal and strong. The bottom is thick. This unit is heavy. The window will also melt if it gets too hot. There aren't enough vents, so moisture gathers and makes popcorn tough. Replace the window with metal and drill more vent holes and you have a good popper.
