The classic Victorio strainer was well known for its precision operation and long lasting reliability. Back to Basics continues the tradition of quality with this Back to Basics 220 strainer. Sturdy nylon spiral and hopper will not dent or rust and are not affected by fruit and vegetable juices. Fully gasketed and sealed at shaft and screen to eliminate leaking and dripping. Optional screens can be purchased for a variety of uses. Screens are constructed of stainless steel and feature simple twist-on design.

I have used various fruiit colanders, strainers. etc/over the years and I have never used ANYTHING, so effecient or easy to use as this. It is wonderful and does and excellent job.

I put up over 100 quarts of spaghetti sauce every summer, and this strainer makes my job so easy. The old strainer I had I had to cook the tomatoes down to a soft stage so that they would go through the strainer. I just wash and quarter the tomatoes now and the rest the strainer does.
Clean up is easy also. And the gasket doesn't leak like the old strainer did. I preferred to do it outside with the old one. I can do it in the kitchen with this one.
